We’ll talk briefly about the physical and logical flow of information at the Hub and we’ll practice handling scenarios you might expect from neighbors after a big disaster. This event will help us prepare for the city-wide “Disaster Practice” in June.

In the event of a disaster, six Emergency Communication Hubs in Ballard will “activate” to establish communication with Seattle’s Emergency Operations Center and to assist in the coordination of sharing local available resources.
