2019 off with a burst

A burst of energy that is – events for you to visit and learn more about preparedness.  We had our first Hub Captains Network meeting of 2019 this week, and when all the hubs had shared their plans, it was clear that this will be a year you can really engage about preparedness.  Here’s what’s coming up in Jan and Feb, and check our calendar for all the details.

Lake City Community Conversation  – Weds, Feb 6, 6:30 – 8 pm, Lamb of God Lutheran Church, 12509 27th Ave NE, an evening to learn more about emergency preparedness in Lake City.

 

Ninth Annual Sustainable NE Hands-On Skill Fair, Saturday, Feb 9, 2 -5 pm, Meadowbrook Community Center, 10517 35th Ave NE

“Stop the Bleed” at the Sustainable NE Hands-On Skills Fair, Saturday, Feb 9, 2 – 3:30 pm, Meadowbrook Community Center, 10517 35th Ave NE.  No sign up needed, first 24 people admitted.

 

South Park Hub 101, Saturday, Feb 9, afternoon (exact time TBA).  South Park Neighborhood Center, 8201 10th Ave S. This will be an entry level learning session about how the South Park hub will operate.
