Welcome to the
Rainier Beach Emergency Hub
The Rainier Beach Ready Hub is a gathering place (Hub station) where community volunteers and other residents meet after a major disaster to exchange information, resources, offer volunteer assistance, and provide “on the ground” information to the City’s Emergency Operations Center via radio communication. Hub volunteers assist the City of Seattle promote emergency preparedness programs and disseminate information to individuals, families, and other community groups.
The Hub is located at Rainier Beach Community Club – The VFW Hall, 6038 South Pilgrim (intersection of 60th S.; S. Pilgrim; and Waters Ave. S.).
Meetings are held monthly the 2nd Monday at 7:00 PM, at the hall. Winter/Spring meetings: Feb 8, March14, April 11.
