Hub Basics – West Seattle

March 14 @ 2:00 PM - 3:30 PM

Free

This class is intended for new Hub volunteers and those wanting a refresher.  Learn how an “Emergency Hub” works so you can quickly jump in and support your neighbors post-disaster. We will cover

  • Preparedness in Seattle
    • Hazards we face
    • City response
  • How the Hub works
  • Practice a few scenarios, situations we think our neighbors will come to the Hub with.

It’s great fun and interactive.  You’ll quickly grasp how everything works together and feel much more prepared to support your household – and your neighbors!  We will have time after the presentation for individual Hubs to gather and talk over next steps.

  • Saturday, March 14
  • 2pm to 3:30pm
  • High Point Library (3411 S.W. Raymond St., Seattle, WA 98126)

ALL are welcome!
