GMRS Radio Exercise

- Wedgwood Presbyterian church (8008 35th Ave NE)
Following a 30-minute review of radio communications, participants will proceed (with an experienced radio operator) to 1 of 6 locations to practice communicating with other sites in/around Wedgwood. Participants will begin using simplex communications (radio-to-radio) followed by practice participating in a “net” (coordinated conversation using a repeater).
All are welcome!
We are able to program new radios during the first 20 minutes of class. Bring your radio with you.
Brand new radio operators can remain at the church (instead of heading out to the other sites) for additional practice time.
