When the 12s Shook the Earth (Again)

Posted by: admin

Last Saturday night, Lumen Field didn’t just host a playoff game — it hosted a geological event.

As the Seahawks took the field, fans took it personally. Every stomp, cheer, and high-decibel roar from the 12s sent vibrations rippling through the stadium… and straight into the seismic sensors monitoring the area. Yes, actual instruments designed to measure earthquakes noticed Seahawks fans doing what Seahawks fans do best: being loud.

Scientists call it “seismic activity.” We call it home-field advantage.

The readings didn’t register a major quake — but they absolutely confirmed that Seahawks fans remain a force of nature.

So if you thought the stadium was rocking, you were right. The earth agreed.

Go Hawks. 💙💚
