“Unplugged” – Disaster Practice – great fun!

Every year, we get out in the field and practice our skills – and we need your help!  The theme of this year’s drills is “Unplugged.” The scenario:

The FIFA World Cup tournament has brought soccer fans to Seattle by the tens of thousands. . . . Without warning, the power plant at Bonneville Dam fails . . . now the entire Pacific Northwest is without electricity.

All interested parties are encouraged to attend. We’ll need neighbors to put the Emergency Hub volunteers through their paces.

Of note:

• Spanish interpreter on site!
• Snacks and Giveaways!
• Video booth!

This is the first of two dates this year, our second exercise will be on Sunday, June 22.
