GMRS Radio Clinic

Learn how GMRS (General Mobile Radio System) communications can be used if communications are down.  First by your household – and then by your community (Emergency Communication Hubs).
The class will cover repeaters (extend the reach of your radio), radio etiquette, and more.

During class, your radio will be programmed to match other GMRS radios involved in the Hub network.  That makes communication easier and you can listen in on important Ham radio communications post-disaster.

At the tail end of the class, we will go outside and practice talking on the radio.
