Amateur radio, also called ham radio, is a licensed radio service that lets you communicate with other hams around the world, even when other forms of communication are not working. Ham radio operators volunteer in their communities – and with governmental and non-governmental organizations – to help respond to disasters. It’s also a fantastic hobby, with a variety of clubs and regular events and meetings to help new operators learn and practice.
Ham radio requires a license; this class will help you get yours.
This 2-day amateur radio licensing class is focused on helping you pass the exam to obtain your Federal Communication Commission (FCC) amateur radio license. License exams are held at the conclusion of the class on August 24th and we have an exceptional pass rate.
