Household Preparedness Training – Magnolia

FreeLearn what hazards might impact Seattle (volcano – no, tsunami – yes) and how to prepare for the top five. Much of what you’ll walk away with will help in everyday emergencies, too (power outage, water main break, windstorm, etc.). You’ll experience our cool props (gas meter, twin bucket toilet) and walk away with several useful handouts.

- How communities respond in disasters (much better than you might expect!)
- How to shut off gas to your building
- Emergency supplies to have in your home
- How to contact loved ones not impacted by the disaster
