DESCRIPTION:Please RSVP here for an evening of hearty appetizers\, beverages and learn how radios will play an instrumental role after a disaster. This is the third of three indoor Madison Park Emergency Communication Hub tabletop drills. \nHub 301 will focus on the use of radios and the importance of communications after a disaster.  We will learn about different types of radios and practice communications that allow our hub to communicate with: 1) neighbors within Madison Park\, 2) other Seattle hubs\, and 3)  City of Seattle radio volunteers\,. \nYou can sign up to bring an appetizer\, dessert or bottle of wine to keep things festive. \nNote:  We will meet in the auditorium of the Parkshore Senior Living Community. When you arrive in the lobby\, you will need to sign in at the front desk before you are directed to the auditorium. \nCome play radio with us!

There will not be a formal net\, please come up on the weekly designated channel and connect with other GMRS hub radio operators. Share announcements\, compare radios signal strength\, meet new operators; this is to encourage participation and ensure our equipment is always in working order.
