DESCRIPTION:First Tuesday in August is “National Night Out” – a chance for neighbors to gather and enjoy each other’s company.  Some groups share a meal; some chat over lemonade.  Some groups discuss safety or preparedness issues pertinent to their neighborhood; some just catch up and welcome newcomers to the group. \nWhatever your style\, just make sure you meet your neighbors.  There is no better predictor of how well a neighborhood will withstand a disaster than how well connected they were before it struck. \nWe are social creatures; we are better together. \nNNO is Tuesday\, August 2nd.  GATHER with Neighbors!!
