DESCRIPTION:Interested in where Seattle water comes from? \nExplore the intersections of water access\, climate change and equity at the Cedar River Municipal Watershed through a partnership with Seattle Public Utilities. You will get hands-on\, experiential learning in a protected mountain watershed that is closed to unsupervised public access. Participants will be guided through the Education Center and on short walks to explore Chester Morse Lake and the Cedar River Waterfall. Discussions will include how you as a rate-payer can engage in civic decision-making about the essential resource we use every day. \n\n\n\n\n\nThursday\, Sep 18th\n9am to 4:30pm\n18+ years old \n$40\nBring a sack lunch and water bottle\, dress warm and be prepared to walk up to ½ mile.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMUST Register with Seattle Parks & Rec.\n– Registration opens 8/12/25
