DESCRIPTION:Every year\, we get out in the field and practice our skills – and we need your help!  The theme of this year’s drills is “Unplugged.” The scenario: \nThe FIFA World Cup tournament has brought soccer fans to Seattle by the tens of thousands. . . . Without warning\, the power plant at Bonneville Dam fails . . . now the entire Pacific Northwest is without electricity. \nAll interested parties are encouraged to attend. We’ll need neighbors to put the Emergency Hub volunteers through their paces. \n\nSaturday\, June 7\nNoon to 4pm\nEl Centro De La Raza (2524 16th Ave S.\, Seattle\, WA  98144)\n\nOf note: \n\nSpanish interpreter on site!\nSnacks and Giveaways!\nVideo booth!\n\nThis is the first of two dates this year\, our second exercise will be on Sunday\, June 22. \nFor more information on how you can observe or help with the exercise\, go to seattleemergencyhubs.org/unplugged \n \n
