You’ll also receive an overview of other OEM efforts including the SNAP program\, Community Emergency Hubs\, and the City’s new alert and notification system\, Alert Seattle.\nIntended Audience: This presentation is intended for a broad array of audiences. This could include a business or non-profit organization looking to increase the personal preparedness of its employees. It could also include a community group looking to improve the personal preparedness of the neighborhood or people they serve.\nFor accessibility accommodations\, please e-mail or text OEM@seattle.gov or 206-233-5076.

SUMMARY:Phinney Hub Drill
DESCRIPTION:The Phinney Hub is conducting an emergency drill Saturday\, Sept. 9th from 1:15 to 3:30.  It will be conducted in the PNA upper parking lot (6532 Phinney Ave N).  In a disaster (such as an earthquake)\, people will come together to help each other.  It’s human nature.  The Hub will help make this happen.\n \nCome to the drill to see how the Phinney Hub facilitates “Neighbors helping Neighbors” \nMake room on your calendar so you can participate.  To ensure the drill runs smoothly\, it’s very helpful for us to know how many participants to expect.  If you will be coming to the drill\, please send a reply indicating you plan to come and how many (if more than just you) \nThe drill will be on-going until 3:30.  Come when you can.  Stay as long as you want. \nIf you have any questions\, feel free to contact us at phinneyhub@gmail.com
