Sept 22 drill in the park a success!

Our Hub ran a full drill in September at the park. With essential help from other hub volunteers and some of our dependable Madison Park stalwarts, we ran a busy drill (49 participants) full of wants, needs and info. And tested out two new concepts: 1) a “special op” (complex scenario) that required some tough problem solving by a subgroup in real time and 2) scouts, equipped with MURS radios, that went out into the neighborhood to help answer Hub burning questions.
Both of these concepts taught us a lot and have room to grow, but we sure appreciated the opportunity to try them out!
