Maple Leaf Emergency Hubs

Maple Leaf has two Emergency Hubs

Hubs are natural gathering spots within the community where neighbors will meet to support one another after a disaster.  The Hub system is designed to “jump start” neighbors’ natural desire to support one another after a disaster.  The system helps neighbors gather and post information, share resources already within the community, and organize volunteer efforts.

The North Hub box is currently located in the Maple Leaf Community Garden but we are looking for a more suitable location.

The South Hub box is located next to the bathroom in the Maple Leaf Park Playground.

The Hubs are operated and organized by volunteers.  We need YOU to make this work!
