Disaster Skills Training – in Vietnamese

Kudos to the Seattle Office of Emergency Management for offering disaster preparedness training classes in multiple languages. In March, they taught a Disaster Skills class in Cantonese and in April one will be offered in Vietnamese at the High Point Library. FEMA has advocated for a “whole community” approach to disaster preparedness and engaging the diverse cultures in all their languages will help build community resilience.
