Disaster Skills Training – in Vietnamese

Posted by: admin

Kudos to the Seattle Office of Emergency Management for offering disaster preparedness training classes in multiple languages.  In March, they taught a Disaster Skills class in Cantonese and in April one will be offered in Vietnamese at the High Point Library.  FEMA has advocated for a “whole community” approach to disaster preparedness and engaging the diverse cultures in all their languages will help build community resilience.  See our calendar for details on the April 7th Vietnamese language class and for other sessions scheduled around the city.
