ACS – Behind the Scenes

Posted by: admin

Auxiliary Communication Service Hams operate 2nd location in north Seattle

ACS, the Ham radio volunteer response team of the city’s Emergency Response Center (EOC) used their newest location in the January “Fifth Saturday” drill. The drill is an event when cities and other emergency response organizations practice sending messages to the Washington State EOC.  The drill was also an opportunity to see how many people could squeeze into the tiny space to work the 3 operator stations, which are set up to control 7 radios all on different frequencies and functions.

  1. “Definitely believe that which you said. Your favorite justification seemed to be on the internet the simplest thing to be aware of. I say to you, I definitely get annoyed while people consider worries that they just don’t know about. You managed to hit the nail upon the top and also defined out the whole thing without having side-effects , people could take a signal. Will probably be back to get more. Thanks”
