March training events

Posted by: admin

There is a LOT of interest in emergency preparedness now!  In March, the hubs will be involved with 7 local organizing and training sessions.  Many thanks to those Hub Captains and neighborhood groups who are sponsoring these sessions and to the city’s Office of Emergency Management for coordinating the instructors for training.

In the Central District, neighbors in the North Garfield neighborhood held a Seattle Neighbors Actively Prepare (SNAP) session to start to map their neighborhood.  They are the first group organizing under the banner of “Central District Prepares”.  Foore info on their work, email resilience.cd@gmail.com
